Jaime Roman is a writer-producer with over a decade of experience working in film, television, and documentary. Born in Seoul, South Korea, raised in Oklahoma, and based in Los Angeles, Jaime’s background has allowed her to craft a career focused on story-forward content featuring diverse voices and perspectives. Starting her career in branded digital content, Jaime worked with major corporate clients like Walgreens, Universal, and YogaWorks. She also worked with a number of New York based production companies to cover several New York Fashion Weeks including shows like Jason Wu, Donna Karan, and Marc Jacobs, before transitioning into documentary film production. In documentary, she worked with companies such as BYKids with filmmakers including the late legendary documentarian Albert Maysles and for Robert Greenwald’s Peabody Award winning Brave New Films in short form educational and digital content. She’s produced three feature documentaries with independent production companies, filming all over the world including in Germany, Spain, and Argentina as well as in 12 different states. Currently, she is developing a docuseries based on a New York Times best-seller and a scripted television series for the Cherokee Nation.
